The Neonatal Resuscitation Program® (NRP®) course conveys an evidence-based approach to care for the newborn at birth and facilitates effective team-based care for healthcare professionals who care for newborns at the time of delivery. NRP utilizes a blended learning approach, which includes online testing, online case-based simulations, and hands-on case-based simulation/debriefing that focus on critical leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. The course is completed in three steps: 1) Study, 2) Online Cognitive Portion & 3) Hands-On Session. Successful completion of the online exam and the skills demonstration will result in an American Academy of Pediatrics/AHA NRP certification card valid for two years.
